As I strolled alone in the park’s gentle breeze,
My camera captured beauty with ease.
A sunflower stood tall, its bright yellow face,
A familiar friend’s smile in a lonely place.

I was beguiled by its beauty, so pure and bright,
Yet in its solitude, I saw a reflection of my night.
Its petals shone like gold, its stature strong and free,
But others might miss the beauty hidden in its symmetry.

The gentle curve of its petals, the softness of its hue,
A beauty that whispers secrets, only visible to me, it’s true.
I saw myself in its solitary stand,
A bloom in the crowd, yet unplanned.

Its beauty shone bright, despite being alone,
Reminding me worth’s found in being my own.
In its quiet strength, I found a peaceful place,
A sense of self, in the sunflower’s gentle face.
