I lay at night staring into the void
My eyes, they see clearly in the nothingness

Fell too many time with the cracks to show for it
But I won’t break for the world to see

I leave them empty and I might break.

I’m on a cliff, lend me a helping hand
the closer I get to breaking the harder I smile
My smiles grow broad like the cunning Joker
I smile lest they see my teary eyes
tears of a soft and fragile boy needing love
I see a broken me each time I close my eyes
a version brought to his knees for feeling
For feeling love, feeling hurt, feeling anything and everything
Love will break me, so I stop myself from feeling it.
